WHAT DOES MOFI DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Why
Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.
What?
The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. This information can include:

- Account balances, transaction history and payment history
- Credit history and credit scores
- Postal addresses, email addresses, and consumer phone numbers

How does MoFi protect my personal information?
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files, and buildings.
How does MoFi collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you:
- Apply for a loan
- Set up payments or disbursements for your loan
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only
- Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness
- Affiliates from using your information to market to you
- Sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?
Your choices will apply to you alone unless you tell us otherwise.
Definitions
Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
- Our affiliate include companies that utilize the names MoFi, MoFi Lending LLC, or Montana Community Development Corporation
Nonaffiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
- MoFi does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market with you.
Joint Marketing
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated companies that together market financial products and services to you.
- MoFi does not jointly market.
Other important information
Do Not Call Policy. This notice is the MoFi Do Not Call Policy under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. We do not solicit via telephone numbers listed on the state or federal Do Not Call lists, unless the law allows. Consumers who ask not to receive telephone solicitations from MoFi will be placed on the MoFi Do Not Call list and will not be called in future campaigns, including those of MoFi affiliates.
For Nevada residents only. We are providing you this notice under state law. You may be placed on our internal Do Not Call List by following the directions in the To limit direct marketing contact section. Vermont: We will not disclose information about your creditworthiness to our affiliates other than as permitted by Vermont law, unless you authorize us to make those disclosures.
California. Under California law, we will not share information we collect about you with companies outside of MoFi, unless the law allows. For example, we may share information with your consent, to service your accounts, or to provide rewards or benefits you are entitled to. We will limit sharing among our companies to the extent required by California law.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy. It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat consumers’ personal information, we will notify consumers through a notice on the website. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the bottom of this page.
Text Message Communications. We use text messaging to communicate with you about your service. Normal messaging rates apply and the frequency of messages may vary. Mobile Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
