College Expansion to Accommodate Healthcare Programs

Browning, a Montana community of 1,000 citizens, has endured financial hardships and economic uncertainty for years. Blackfeet Community College (BCC), a school on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, recently took action to improve the town’s shortage of healthcare professionals in the area. With the help of MoFi’s New Markets Tax Credits, BCC is constructing a $7.5 million building to expand its education, nursing and health training programs. Opening fall 2018, the expansion will allow the college to offer four-year degree programs by 2020.
