MISSOULA, Mont. – TrailWest Bank announced a $1,000 sponsorship of MoFi (formerly Montana & Idaho CDC) this March. TrailWest Bank’s sponsorship will help support MoFi’s work with small business owners and entrepreneurs in Western Montana.
“TrailWest Bank’s sponsorship helps make our business consulting possible,” said Dave Glaser, President of MoFi. “This support includes consulting with our clients on their business plans, reviewing financial projections, evaluating marketing strategies and assessing opportunities for growth.”
In 2017, MoFi made 52 loans to entrepreneurs in Montana alone. MoFi helps a diverse and underserved group of entrepreneurs; of the 48 businesses financed in Montana last year, 52 percent were run by low-income entrepreneurs, 38 percent were woman-owned and 52 percent were rural.
“We are so grateful for TrailWest Bank’s sponsorship of MoFi,” said Glaser. “Our organizations have a mutual commitment to helping Montana business owners access the capital they need to thrive.”
