This position is on MoFi’s lending team. This team is customer-centric, flexible, knowledgeable, cross-trained, transparent, and efficient. Their goal is to help clients have a seamless lending process and ultimately assist borrowers in becoming bankable. The Credit Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of the underwriting process including; qualification screening, credit underwriting, closings, renewals, and disbursements to MoFi’s business loan applicants and clients. In addition, they work with their lending team comprised of a Senior Credit Analyst and Loan Officer to assist clients throughout their underwriting process and overall client experience at MoFi. This position has strong upward mobility potential within MoFi’s lending team. This position reports to the Director of Lending or their Loan Officer.


This position works with the Senior Credit Analyst, Loan Officers, and the Director of Lending during the underwriting process, and approval and closing. The position also works with active loan clients to assist in loan modifications and loan disbursements. Detailed job duties include:

  1. Assist Loan Officer and Senior Credit Analyst with gathering and reviewing all necessary information for underwriting new loan requests
  2. Assist Loan Officer and Senior Credit Analyst with gathering, reviewing, and filing all required information and documentation for loan approval and closing
  3. Portfolio Management duties include reviewing lending and insurance-related mail, renewing and managing UCC filings, client reporting verification, and collection and debt modifications as needed
  4. Manage collateral, UCC, and insurance releases for any client whose loan is paid off


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ year of experience as a credit analyst in a financial institution or related experience
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Enjoys learning, problem-solving, and collaboration
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills


The salary range is $45,000-$60,000 per year. The position includes full healthcare benefits, short and long-term death and disability, employer-sponsored 401K retirement benefits, life insurance, holiday savings contributions, monthly wellness stipend, and paid time off.
